Here is a great simple breakdown of the classic barre exercise, Standing Seat Work. Remember to always keep the toe down on the floor to simply squeeze the seat and upper back thigh if you do not feel this exercise. Once you feel it in the right place, you should be able to progress to a more advanced level. Remember, it is better to always maintain the integrity of your lower back by not tucking the hips here. BarreAmped utilizes a neutral spine so the stability of the lower back comes from the core in all directions and does not come from flexing and compressing the lower spine.
